Twelve stellar organizations were selected from two hundred high-quality proposals received in 2001-2002 to share a total of $200,000.  TechGrants awards these grants on a national basis and names awardees through a highly competitive proposal process.  A clear goal of bridging the Nonprofit Digital Divide is a prerequisite at the heart of each successful proposal.  Awardees were chosen for their passionate focus on projects that will bring quality technology resources to selected nonprofits, showing that effectively deployed technology can greatly impact nonprofits’ ability to achieve their mission.  The 2001-2002 awardees were:
