TechGrants is a grant program and newsletter that provides nonprofits with access to capital to help fulfill their technology needs. TechGrants focuses on directly funding critical technology needs while using its electronic newsletter to publicize innovative ways to find capital.

TechFoundation established its TechGrants program to identify, assess and assist nonprofit organizations seeking to implement worthy technology projects that will benefit their local communities or benefit nonprofits everywhere. The program is an important aspect of TechFoundation’s mission to promote a world where the resources that businesses use to create wealth – capital, technology and expertise – can be accessed by nonprofit organizations to better serve humanity.

As one of the only technology-focused granting programs in the United States, TechFoundation aspires to:

• Implement an increasing number of highly successful projects that will bring quality technology resources to select nonprofits in the U.S.
• Show that effectively deployed technology can have a great impact on the ability of a nonprofit to achieve their mission 
• Increase awareness of and support for the nonprofit technology assistance providers (NTAPs) community, which provides technology services to thousands of nonprofits in the United States.

With each grant, it is TechGrant’s goal to learn from the participants and improve the scope and implementation of the program in subsequent rounds.
