TechConnect is the educational arm of TechFoundation, bringing technology expertise to the nonprofit community. Created specifically for nonprofit decision makers who may or may not have a technical background, TechConnect is a series of events designed to bring local nonprofit communities together while providing high-quality educational seminars.
The TechConnect curriculum focuses on issues facing nonprofits today and is developed in conjunction with nonprofit leaders, technology experts, and consultants. By offering these seminars, TechConnect facilitates peer-learning, establishes peer-support networks within local nonprofit communities, and fosters critical dialogue about integrating mission-based technology.
TechConnect was conceived as an informal lunch forum where nonprofit decision-makers could discuss pressing technology issues. In less than a year, TechConnect has grown into an esteemed national seminar series with events from coast to coast, drawing an audience of thousands of nonprofit decision-makers.
Responding to the nonprofit community’s overwhelming need for technology information, TechConnect has created eight, 90-minute curriculum modules:

Sharon served the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston as an information technology specialist and a network administrator. She graduated with a B.A. in cognitive science and Chinese studies from Wellesley College, where she worked at the Information Services department and assisted various computer specialists.
